These wooden decorative boxes make excellent gifts. Wooden carved boxes are unique one-of-a-kind items. They should be handled with great care. The intricate design and carving can get damaged easily if not taken care of properly. Wooden boxes should not be washed and only wiped in case of dust accumulation.

Wooden Jewelry Boxes:

The wooden wine boxes have removable trays with supports provided below. The supports allow the divider to be removed so that the box can be used for other purposes once the wine has been consumed. The boxes are at times fitted with neck holders to prevent the bottles from rolling around once they have been packed.

Wooden Packing Cases:

Wooden packing cases have hinged corners and removable bases and lids. Some wooden boxes are built in such a way that they can be folded flat. During usage, the lids and bases are screwed to the sides to give the case a rigid structure. Wooden packing cases are useful for transporting goods through airplanes. They are most widely used for transporting tea.

Other wooden boxes are available for various purposes. Wooden CD cases, pencil cases, pen cases and other storage boxes are available in plenty. Handmade boxes with intricate carvings are extremely popular. Boxes made of high quality wood like rosewood, teakwood or walnut wood are very expensive. A well varnished box will last through years. Unlike other materials which cannot be repaired once they are broken, wooden boxes can be fixed over and over again.
