Digital art is an art created on a computer, in digital form. Digital art can be purely computer generated. The term ‘digital art’ is actually reserved for that art which has been non-trivially modified by a computing process. Digitized text data and raw audio and video recordings are not usually considered as digital art, but those can be part of the larger project of digital art.

Some may say that digital technologies are no longer a novelty in the art world. But one thing that you should keep in mind that, digital utensils have now become an integral part of the process of making art. Digital Photography and digital printing is now an acceptable medium of creation by major museums and galleries. Internationally many museums are now beginning to collect digital art.
