    Exquisite stone carving is done in Allagadda.

    It is an important stone-carving center.

    It is a well-known silk weaving center.
  • Hyderabad:
    Hyderabad is the capital city of the state of Andhra Pradesh. The city of Hyderabad was the royal capital of the erstwhile Nizam rulers. Hyderabad is famous for its Char minar, traditional cuisine and pearl jewelry. Pearl jewelry and bidri work are the main craft traditions of this city.

    Kondapalli is known for beautiful wooden toys. Toys in the shape of birds, animals, mythological characters, models of fruits and vegetables etc are chiseled out of locally available wood. The colours applied are bright and these toys can also be used as decorative pieces.

    Sheet metal work using brass is done in here, on plaques, containers, vases, utensils etc.
  • Srikakulam:
    From the small village of Budhiti in Srikakulam, comes elegant utensils and items made of brass and other alloys.
  • Tirupati:
    Tirupati is world famous for its temple of Lord Venkateshwara. Millions of people visit this temple every year, for blessings. Tirupati is not only famous for religious places, but it also is the home for traditional crafts. It is known for toys and dolls made out of wood and stone carving. Locally available redwood is used in making these toys.
