Indian handmade cotton table spreads in block prints, are rich in colors and designs. The art of block printing emerged in India in 12th century. Today places like Ahemdabad, Sanganer, Bagru, Farukhabad and Pethapur are few of the remaining centers, which are practicing this art using traditional techniques, designs and colors.
